Silistar beach – Tsarevo

Silistar is one of the most beautiful and quiet beaches on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. It is 1 km away from the main road which is connecting Rezovo and Sinemorets. It is situated in the protected area with the same name, which is included in the area of Strandzha Nature Park. A dirt road is crossing the forest and leads to an extensive parking lot. After a few meters, you may discover an incredible view.
Silistar is the southernmost beach in Bulgaria, with the exception of very small beach, located in the village of Rezovo. It is about 1 km long and has an average width of 70 meters.
The beach is one of the most popular surfing spots on our Black Sea coast. Тhere is a shop where you can eat and cool off. In addition, the concessionaire offers paid umbrellas and wooden tents, which are a great option for large troop. There is also a camping site next to the beach entrance.
Beautiful rock formations, scenic coves and historic sites can be seen in the surrounding area. In the Middle Ages, there was a settlement with a harbor that continued to function until the end of the 18th century.
It is difficult to resist this beautiful beach. The water is clear and shallow, and the sand – soft and clean. Nearby there are rocks that are perfect for diving, and the forest reaches majestically to the beach itself.
Not far from Silistar are other places for sun collecting – Listi, Lipite, Veleka and Dolphin mouths.
Only 5 km. from Silistar there is also the beautiful village of Sinemorets – providing excellent conditions for tourism. In the resort, you will find great beaches and magnificent nature, as well as cozy hotels and restaurants at great prices.
